Mr. Skapik graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1985. He received his law degree from Southwestern University College of Law and was admitted
to practice in 1993.

As an engineer, Mr. Skapik worked in the areas of mechanical design, hydraulic engineering and product sales. He is knowledgeable in the areas of product design, manufacturing processes, metal and plastics technology and structural and mechanical stress analysis. He has primarily worked as an attorney in the area of construction defect and product liability litigation since beginning his law career in 1993. In addition, Mr. Skapik has litigation experience in construction accident, medical malpractice, professional liability, SIU, and insurance coverage matters.

Mr. Skapik is a member of the California State Bar, and is admitted to practice in
all of the State Courts and the Federal Court, Central District. He is a member of
the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and enjoys playing golf
and racquetball.

Andrew M Mancini

Mr. Mancini was admitted to practice in 1987 after graduating from the West Los Angeles School of Law where he was on the Dean's List, was on Law Review, and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Awards in constitutional law, torts and contracts.

Mr. Mancini has substantial and extensive trial and arbitration experience and specializes in high exposure, complex litigation, including fire losses, catastrophic injuries, brain damage and toxic mold injuries. His litigation background involves employment litigation, including wrongful termination and gender and racial discrimination, trucking accidents, extensive product liability litigation, construction defects, premises liability, and specializes in personal injuries arising out of construction projects.

Mr. Mancini is a member of the California State Bar and is also admitted to practice if Federal Court, Central District. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mr. Toki graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science in 1983.
He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego, School of Law and was admitted to practice in 1987.


Mr. Toki has extensive experience with high exposure complex litigation, including business litigation, construction defect, surety bonds and mechanic's liens, toxic mold and construction accident litigation. Mr. Toki has developed and participated in seminars in the area of construction defect and has sat on seminar panels with other counsel and mediators in the industry, including Gerald Kurland.

Mr. Toki's litigation background includes general liability and personal injury, product liability, trucking accidents, premises liability, and employment litigation, including wrongful termination and racial discrimination.

Mr. Toki is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in all State Courts and the Federal Courts for the Central and Southern Districts. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association.

A senior associate with the firm, Mr. Day graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate and Law. He received his Juris Doctorate from Western State University, College of Law,
and was admitted to practice in 1996. He is experienced in civil litigation, including general liability defense, construction defect, personal injury, products and premises liability. He has trial experience in both construction defect and general liability matters.

Mr. Day is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in all
State Courts and the Federal Courts of Central and Northern Districts. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel. Mr. Day is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California. He enjoys time with his family and various sporting activities.

Gina Bazaz

A Senior Associate in the firm, Ms. Bazaz received her bachelor's degree in political science from California State University, Northridge and her Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University in 1997, graduating in the top 15% of her class. Ms. Bazaz began her legal career representing plaintiffs. However, due to her wholehearted belief in the defense process, Ms. Bazaz commenced her employment with an insurance defense firm in 2000.

Ms. Bazaz has successfully settled a multitude of cases on behalf of numerous prominent insurance carriers and companies, primarily in the areas of construction defect and premises liability. Ms. Bazaz is a member of the Southern California Defense Counsel and admitted to practice law in State and Federal Courts. Ms. Bazaz' fields of practice include construction defect, premises liability and business litigation. Ms. Bazaz enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Mr. Rohde is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court - Central District and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is experienced in civil litigation matters with emphasis in construction defect litigation, toxic mold, and mechanics' lien actions. He also has extensive experience in the medical field. He enjoys baseball, racquetball, and computers.
