About Us

Brooklyn Institute's commitment is that a successful school must make a concerted effort to excel. In Brooklyn's inception in Spring 2005, the founders, Naomi Brooks and Nora Flores, have been committed to reinventing the philosophy of a sound education, which includes the effort of the student body as well as the staff. Everyone involved must work toward the same goal, creating a healthy educational environment. The founders of Brooklyn Institute wish to contribute their own special skills to the success its success. Our personal confidence has increased through the cultivation of leadership and organizational skills. We delight in new challenges and have held leadership positions and volunteered in missions. We have trained students to excel in academics, motivation, and professional development.

Brooklyn Institute is approved by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) and National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA). TWC regulates and approves the operation of proprietary schools. CAAHEP is the largest programmatic accreditor in the health sciences field. It reviews and accredits programs. NSAA is an organization that certifies surgical assistants nationwide. It is the first organization to establish standards of professionalism and proficiency for non physician surgical assistants.

Leadership and organizational abilities are crucial roles to any school. They play a key role in maintaining the highest quality of success. Organizing an efficient school is essential in an ever-changing society. New medical technology is constantly evolving; therefore, our school must revolutionize its strategy in order to succeed.

As founders of Brooklyn Institute, we base our concept on a medical trade school and our combined years of experience, which encompasses over 60 years as medical professionals. We receive tremendous gratification when students are given the opportunity of achieving skills, not just knowledge, in order to maintain fresh, rewarding careers.

Our goal is excellence in curriculum, staff, and faculty. It is our job to ensure that all possible educational resources are available to our student body to guarantee their success.

While it would be an overstatement to state that Brooklyn Institute is the most important career choice for your educational needs, it will serve your best interest for a sound education.

The anticipation of opening our new, state-of-the-art Grand Prairie facility in Spring 2006, we have developed 5 professional medical programs:
