Zap
Keys needs to receive the following
before any keys are cut:
- A legible copy of your
driver license (enlarge slightly
before sending)
- A copy of either your
vehicle registration or title certificate
- License plate number
of the vehicle that we are making
keys for
- A copy of the Zap
Keys Work Authorization Letter

The best way to ensure
prompt service is to get the paperwork
to us quickly. There are three ways
to provide us with paperwork:
- Photocopy and fax to
our customer service department.

This is the least recommended way
due to the typically poor clarity
of faxes. Faxes that can't be read
will delay your order until a clear
copy is received in our office,
no exceptions – EVER.
- Use a scanner to email
your paper work. This is the most
recommended way to submit your documents
because it is generally quick and
extremely legible.
- Mail your documents
to our office. Click
here (link to contact
info page) for our mailing address.
You may mail photocopies or original
documents if you don't have access
to a photocopy machine. Original
documents will be returned to you
with your keys.
Once we have all your
paperwork, your key(s) will be cut
and shipped directly to your door.
The normal time needed to process
your order, cut and ship your key(s)
is about one day not including holidays.
Exceptions may occur and longer times
may be needed depending on the location,
type, or age of your vehicle.
We will contact you if
we expect your order to take longer
than normal to process. Express service
is available if you require a faster
turnaround time. Contact our customer
service department for more information.
No refunds in any amounts
will be given once the keys have been
cut. A minimum of $20 will be charged
if your order is canceled after we
process your key codes but before
your keys are cut.
