Changed Ignition Locks and Older
vehicles:
Most often your
replacement keys will be cut by code
based on your Vehicle Identification
Number. If your vehicle's ignition lock
cylinder has been changed the manufacturer
provided key code number won't be valid
and our code cut keys will not work.
If you know for
sure or suspect that your ignition
has been changed we can still make
a key for you by driving out to your
vehicle and decoding your locks on
site.
In some cases, if your
vehicle is 7 years old or older, no
key code information is available
from the manufacturer.
